This past September, I had a work trip to beautiful Dublin, Ireland and there was no way I was going to waste the beautiful weather! With my short stay, I had one priority: to visit the Guinness Storehouse.
A 'flight' of beer is a sampling of three Guinness classics: (L to R) Guinness Foreign Extra Stout, Guinness Draught and Guinness Original.
I'm a bit of a beer snob if I'm honest! I love a rich bodied brew that doesn't taste like carbonated hops flavored water. Enter: Guinness. A pitch black, malt flavored oddity with a thick, toffee aftertaste. You'll be ruined for beer after trying some!
The day started with a 35 minute walk from Pembroke City to the Guinness Factory. I recommend buying your tickets online to avoid the potentially long line. It costs roughly 20 euros for general admission which included a self-guided tour and a tall pint of Guinness at the end of your tour.

The factory is filled with Guinness history from the unique way their hops are toasted, to the advertisements throughout war time. Even if you're not an avid beer aficionado, it's definitely a landmark worth seeing.

Malt flavored with a toffee aftertaste is the best way to describe this beer. Checkout the vlog of my Dublin #OneNightWonder on my YouTube channel and subscribe HERE.
